Ein Weibchen legt im Oktober 2 Eier und die K\u00fcken schl\u00fcpfen Ende November bis Anfang Dezember. Bei dieser Gelegenheit beobachtete ich, wie es seine Beute zum Nest trug, um die \u00e4ngstlich erwarteten K\u00fcken zu f\u00fcttern.
