They have a large space in the ocean where they circulate throughout their lives, well-defined areas for their migrations of autumn and summer, covering thousands of km. In the autumn, they move to the north, it is the time of mating and breeding and they go up to the 20th parallel. They come to <em>Espiritu Santo<\/em> in Brazil. between <em>Mozambique<\/em> and the island of<em> Madagascar<\/em> in Africa. They are also found in <strong>Australia <\/strong>and<strong> New Zealand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1037\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1037\" class=\"wp-image-1037 size-full\" title=\"Annual migration of the Right Whale\" src=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/mapa-ballena-franca-austral.png\" alt=\"Annual migration of the Right Whale\" width=\"700\" height=\"199\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1037\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The annual migration map of the Right Whale<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Just a few years ago, the first complete migration of a whale was recorded. Between his departure for the end of the season of 2014 and his arrival at <strong>Pen\u00ednsula Vald\u00e9s<\/strong> in May 2015. The <a href=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/en\/peninsula-valdes-right-whale-features-and-curiosities\/\"><strong>whale<\/strong><\/a> is known as &#8220;<strong>Papillon&#8221;<\/strong> through a transmitter installed on his skin, allowed to know something more about their habits and customs. Despite having placed satellite transmitters to five whales in total, only Papillon remained connected until returning to <strong>Pen\u00ednsula Valdes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15981 size-full\" title=\"Annual migration of the Right Whale\" src=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/fauna-adventure-dive.jpg\" alt=\"Annual migration of the Right Whale\" width=\"700\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/fauna-adventure-dive.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/fauna-adventure-dive-300x154.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/fauna-adventure-dive-100x51.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Two of the transmitters stopped sending data when they were in the waters of the <strong>South Georgia Islands<\/strong>, probably one of the main feeding areas for this population. He keeps the community informed about the progress in each <a href=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/en\/whale-watching-in-peninsula-valdes-argentine-patagonia\/\"><strong>whale season<\/strong><\/a>. He commented that between September 20 and 25, 2015, small transmitters were again placed to 8 individuals to add migratory routes. In a few days, the transmitter of the first specimen to be marked that year, named &#8220;<strong>Primavera&#8221;<\/strong>, began to point on the map towards the feeding area. Sail and return to enjoy the waters of <strong>Peninsula Valdes<\/strong> in April or May of the following year, here below the map of the trajectory of whales marked, in the posters appears valuable information.
