They vary in a number of members and species. Within <a href=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/en\/valdes-peninsula-maps-tours-and-attractions-in-patagonia\/\"><strong>Peninsula Valdes<\/strong><\/a>, there are <strong>7 colonies of Magellanic penguins<\/strong>. the best known are two, one immense and the other small. The first is the penguin colony of <em><strong>San Lorenzo Ranch<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<strong>46.6 mi<\/strong> <em>( 75 km )<\/em> from our town, <a href=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/en\/valdes-peninsula-maps-tours-and-attractions-in-patagonia\/\"><strong>Puerto Piramides<\/strong><\/a>. This penguin colony is experiencing enormous growth year after year, close to <strong>270,000 Magellan penguins<\/strong> are between September and February, near <strong>Punta Norte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_17001\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17001\" class=\"wp-image-17001 size-full\" title=\"Magellanic penguins\" src=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/pinguin-valdes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"464\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/pinguin-valdes.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/pinguin-valdes-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/pinguin-valdes-100x66.jpg 100w, https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/pinguin-valdes-500x330.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-17001\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Magellanic penguins<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The <strong>scientific community<\/strong> has paid special attention to this change. The most widely accepted theory is that the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecohosteria.com.ar\/en\/magallanic-penguin-in-peninsula-valdes-and-punta-tombo\/\"><strong>penguin population<\/strong><\/a> has made a geographic change finding greater concentrations of fish and other marine life, on which they feed, close to the <strong>Valdes Peninsula<\/strong>.
