Chaque ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 la fin du mois d&rsquo;ao\u00fbt et au d\u00e9but du mois de septembre, les m\u00e2les commencent \u00e0 arriver, puis les femelles. Fin janvier et f\u00e9vrier, des groupes de jeunes manchots n\u00e9s la saison pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente passent pr\u00e8s de deux semaines sur la terre ferme o\u00f9 ils d\u00e9placent leur plumage juv\u00e9nile pour un adulte.
